The following is a list of all the ingredients used in our supplements. Here you can learn why we have carefully selected each ingredient, and how their uses have historically played a part in the success of thousands of horses.


You can be assured that all the ingredients are free from naturally occurring prohibited substances, and are safe to use across all disciplines in the UK. Please check with us if you are unsure about the use of any ingredient, particularly if you are competing overseas.

Aloe Vera - aids in digestion and works to repair stomach ulcers. 


Alpha Lipoic Acid - plays an important role in metabolising glucose and converting food into energy. 


Lipoic Acid - has been solidly studied, showing that it improves nerve conduction, promotes the growth of new nerve fibers, and protects tissues from damage associated with low oxygen supply following stroke, heart attack, trauma, and surgery.Aspirin lowers fever, relieves headaches, decreases muscle and joint pain, reduces inflammation, inhibits the formation of blood clots, and is used to prevent heart attack and stroke. 


Biotin - is used for the maintenance of hoof health. It aids the joints by building strength in the feet, therefore leading to less wear and tear on the connective tissues. 


Black Cohosh Root - helps suppress the secretion of Luteinizing Hormone (LH). High levels of LH in the blood are often associated with menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, headaches, heart palpitations, and drying and thinning of the vagina. 


Calcium Citrate - aids in bone formation.


Cardamom Seed - aids in digestion and detoxifying the body.Carrot helps improve vision and promotes healthy skin. 


Chamomile Flowers - aid in wound healing and digestion, and have calming properties. 


Chamomilla- aids in wound healing and digestion, and has calming properties. 


Chaste Tree Berry - is perhaps the single best natural herb for managing Cushing’s Disease, a disease that develops when the Pituitary Gland can no longer regulate hormones. It restores the body’s normal hormone balance. 


Choline Bitartrate - helps reduce the risk of heart disease, and can lower blood pressure and heart rate. It may offer prevention against some forms of cancer. It is a pseudo-vitamin involved in the metabolism of fats and in nerve function. 


Chondroitin - helps to decrease joint inflammation while improving mobility and general joint health. 


Cinnamon - has antifungal, antibacterial, anti-parasitic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Cinnamon has been effective in fighting stomach ulcers and may significantly lower LDL cholesterol and Triglycerides. Studies show cinnamon improves memory, and increases blood flow and performance. 


Citrus Bioflavonoids - have an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. 


Copper Gluconate - is essential to immune system health. It has also been used to help with Osteoarthritis. 


Cordyceps - helps improve endurance.Cranberry is nutrient-rich and helps maintain urinary tract health. 


DL-Phenylalanine - helps increase energy and improve motivation, and aids in proper weight management. It is both mentally and physically stimulating. 


Echinacea - has been used as an antiseptic, an analgesic, to boost the immune system, to help speed wound healing, to reduce inflammations, to fight infections. 


Eyebright - helps maintain eye health.Fennel Seed contains Anethole, known for its antimicrobial properties. It is useful against bacteria, viruses, and fungi. It also helps to ward off fleas and ticks. 


Fenugreek - aids in digestion, gastritis, and upset stomach. 


Flax Seed - is an excellent source of Omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. Flax Seed contains more Lignans (which have both Plant Estrogen and antioxidant qualities) than other plant foods. Flax Seed contains both the soluble and insoluble types of fiber.Folic Acid protects the body from heart disease and stroke by reducing Homocysteine levels. It supports tissue growth and cell function, and helps protect against some forms of cancer. 


Garlic - is known for its antiviral and antibacterial properties. It is believed to reduce cholesterol and protect the heart. It has anti-inflammatory properties and benefits skin health. 


Ginger - has anti-inflammatory properties and is a powerful natural painkiller. It has long been used as a natural treatment for colds and the flu, as well as being an ancient traditional remedy for a variety of conditions including nausea, diarrhea, and colic. 


Gingko - helps improve mental function and reduce anxiety. 


Ginseng - reduces mental stress and anxiety, and increases mental clarity and alertness. It stimulates the immune and nervous systems, reduces fatigue, and improves athletic endurance. 


Glucosamine - helps to slow the natural deterioration of joints, preventing and treating injuries. 


Glycine - is one of the non-essential amino acids and is used to help create muscle tissue and convert glucose into energy. It is also important to maintaining a healthy central nervous system. 


Himalayan Salt - provides valuable electrolytes, which when diminished can throw the delicate balance of the body’s systems out of equilibrium. 


Horse Chestnut - has been shown to reduce swelling and fluid retention after injury. In horses, its capability to improve blood flow and generate collagen makes it excellent for relieving cases of Laminitis. 


Iron (Ferrous Fumarate) - is directly related to the health of the brain and its functions. It fights against a number of diseases and infections and maintains proper growth and robust health. 


L-Alanine - helps convert blood glucose to energy and reduce muscle fatigue. It is a popular amino acid used for energy metabolism and maintaining low blood sugar levels. 


L-Arginine - is necessary for the production of protein. It also helps rid the body of ammonia (a waste product) and stimulates the release of insulin. In addition, L-Arginine is used to make nitric oxide (a compound that relaxes the blood vessels). 


L-Carnitine - increases strength and endurance, relieves physical and mental fatigue, promotes and maintains new development of muscle mass, reduces muscle injuries and sore muscles, accelerates regeneration, increases cardiac output, and lowers the heart rate under stress. It promotes formation of red blood cells, strengthens the immune system. It improves cognitive abilities like concentration, memory, and ability to learn. 


L-Citrulline - opens and relaxes the blood vessels. It supports detoxification pathways, Nitric Oxide production, and a healthy cardiovascular system. L-Citrulline aids the body in elimination of ammonia, allowing the body to recover from workouts. 


L-Glutamic Acid - establishes a healthy active metabolism by converting food sugars and fat into glucose, the body’s main source of fuel. 


L-Glutamine - is a conditionally essential amino acid that serves as the precursor to the neurotransmitters GABA and Glutamate. It also supports immune and gastrointestinal function. 


L-Histidine Hydrochloride - is the chemical precursor to histamines, which play a central role in allergic reactions. 


Histidine-  is an important component of many enzymes that affect neurotransmitter function. 


L-Isoleucine - is used to assist the body in maintaining normal blood sugar levels. It also boosts muscle strength and endurance. 


L-Leucine Ethyl Ester Hydrochloride - is an essential amino acid that cannot be made in the body. It helps build tissues in the body, preserves muscle tissue, and keeps the body energised. 


L-Lysine - is one of the essential amino acids, meaning it cannot be synthesised by the body and must come from diet. L-Lysine is important in the formation of collagen (the protein that forms the matrix of bone, cartilage and connective tissue). 


Lysine supplements - enhance the intestinal absorption of calcium and reduce the excretion of calcium in the urine. Lysine deficiency may result in immunodeficiency. Lysine can help inhibit the multiplication of virus while Arginine can stimulate viral multiplication. L-Lysine may prevent or decrease the severity of any viral flare-up. It is used in the treatment of bone diseases and may aid bone healing from injury. 


L-Methionine - helps with the effects of toxicity, as well as allergies. 


L-Ornithine - promotes the release of growth hormones that aid in metabolising excess fat, boosts the body’s immune reaction, aids in recover from illness, and improves athletic performance. 


L-Proline - is a precursor of collagen, which functions to support skin, bones, muscles, tendons, and cartilages. 


L-Serine - builds the immune system and maintains muscles. It is important for the correct function of the central nervous system and the brain. 


L-Threonine - is an essential amino acid which is necessary for the proper storage of glucose in the liver. 


L-Tryptophan - has calming properties and aids in decreasing anxiety. 


L-Tyrosine - is a calming ingredient that naturally prompts the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin. 


L-Valine - is essential for muscle tissue repair and muscle metabolism, as well as increasing exercise endurance. It also improves cognitive function. 


Licorice - treats sore throats, bronchitis, adrenal insufficiency, and viral infections. 


Magnesium Citrate - helps maintain normal nerve and muscle function, and supports a healthy immune system. 


Milk Thistle - is an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. 


Mint - has anti-inflammatory properties. 


Molasses - aids in treating depression, anxiety, and related nervous disorders. It also helps with arthritis, rheumatism, and heart palpitations. 


MSM, or Methylsulfonyl-Methane - is an important building block for connective tissues in the equine body. It is used by the body to synthesize collagen, which in turn is used to make up cartilage, an essential part of the joints. 


Mullein Leaf - has been known to fight the flu, ear infections, coughs, bronchitis, and asthma. It soothes the respiratory tract and kills bacteria. 


N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine - has detoxification and antioxidant properties, and aids the respiratory system. 


Cysteine - is a key component of Glutathione, the body’s toxin-neutralising powerhouse. 


Nettle Leaf - helps relieve the symptoms of allergies. 


Oregano Leaf - is extremely high in vitamins and antioxidants, and has been used to fight sore throats, food poisoning, oral thrush, and to help ward off the common cold.


Papaya Leaf - aids in digestion and the breaking down of proteins. 


Paprika - helps to maintain a healthy coat. 


Black Pepper - aids the respiratory and digestive systems. 


Peppermint - calms muscle spasms, aches, and strains. It is beneficial for easing the digestion process, bringing oxygen to the blood, and alleviating sinus pain and pressure. 


Raspberry Leaf - helps improve mood. 


Rosemary - is an anti-inflammatory and boosts the immune system. 


Salvia Hispanica (Chia Seed) - is a nutrient-dense super food. It is packed with antioxidants, fiber, protein, calcium, and more Omega-3 fatty acids per serving than salmon. It is legendary for its energising, stamina-boosting, and inflammation-reducing qualities, as well as its ability to protect the heart and stabilise blood sugar. It also helps to detoxify and boost brain power.

Soy Flour - is rich in high quality protein and excellent source of iron, calcium, and B-vitamins. Besides having a multitude of other benefits, Soyflour provides the protein necessary to strengthen the muscles and tendons around the body’s joints.

Taurine - is one of the most abundant amino acids in the body. It is thought to help regulate heartbeat, maintain cell membranes, and affect the release of neurotransmitters in the brain. 


Thyme - contains many active principles that prevent disease and promote health. It has one of the highest antioxidant levels among herbs, and is packed with minerals and vitamins that are essential for optimum health. Its leaves are one of the richest sources of Potassium, Iron, Calcium, Manganese, Magnesium, and Selenium. 


Turmeric - is a natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent, useful in disinfecting cuts and burns. It has anti-inflammatory properties, may aid in fat metabolism, speeds up wound healing, assists in remodeling damaged skin, and may help in the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions. 


Vitamin A - is beneficial to the immune system, skin, and eyes. 


Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Hydrochloride) - metabolises carbohydrates, participates in the synthesis of acetylcholine, assists in nerve conduction and transmission, produces energy, and metabolises oxygen. 


Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) - helps build red blood cells, repairs and maintains tissue, and heals woundsIt has antioxidant properties, and is used for the metabolisation of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins for energy. 


Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) - improves blood circulation and considerably reduces the risk of heart attack and peripheral vascular disease. It is very effective in increasing joint mobility, enhancing muscle strength, and reducing muscle and joint fatigue. 


Vitamin B5 (Calcium D-Pantothenate) - benefits energy production, healthy cholesterol, and triglyceride levels. 


Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) - helps cells make proteins and manufactures brain chemicals. It has been used for muscle spasms, leg cramps, hand numbness, and some neuritis conditions. 


Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) - helps in healthy regulation of the nervous system, reducing depression, stress, and brain shrinkage. It helps maintain a healthy digestive system, protects against heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure. 


Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) - is essential for the formation of bone and cartilage. It helps the body develop resistance against infectious agents and scavenge harmful, pro-inflammatory free radicals. 


Vitamin D3 - maintains blood calcium levels for normal functioning of the nervous system, as well as for bone growth and the maintenance of bone density. 


Vitamin E (DL-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate) - battles against oxidative stress caused by free radicals within the body. It possesses anti-inflammatory effects that can combat arthritis, rheumatism, asthma, and other inflammatory disorders. 


Zeolite detoxifies - It reduces the risk of cancer by removing toxins and gastro-intestinal infections. 


Zeolite - strengthens the immune system, lowers blood sugar, and helps normalise insulin levels. 


Zinc Gluconate - is a mineral required for the function of numerous enzymatic pathways. It quickens the healing of skin ulcers, acne conditions, infections, disease, and improves the immune system.
